hemant@wpi.wpi.edu (Hemant Rotithor) (03/30/91)
I am scheduled to teach a senior level undergraduate course on advanced microprocessors in the coming Fall. A significant portion of the course is devoted to teaching 16 bit microprocessors (8086), with some stress on the 32 bit microprocessors. We have a lab with the course and most of the development support is available for the Intel microprocessors. I would like to know from people who have taught/taken similar course about their experiences with the text books used for the course. One of the texts I am considering is a text book by Barry Brey describing the Intel processors (published by MacmiLLan). I will summarize if there is enough interest and if I receive enough responses. Thanks in advance Hemant Rotithor -- Hemant G. Rotithor (606)258-2656 * E-mail: hemant@ms.uky.edu or Elect.
