[comp.edu] TAX DEDUCTION FOR USED COMPUTER EQUIPMENT

freewill@nstar.rn.com (Bill Williston) (03/26/91)

Despite the critical importance of education, budgets nationwide are
being scaled down despite the inceasing need. Hence, my appeal to
netters.
I teach computer applications and programming at a public high school
in Southwestern Michigan. We offer word processing, database mgmt,
financial analysis, programming and CAD. We need some high price 'luxury'
items. FAX, modem, laser printer, VGA monitors, tables, chairs, network
sofware, network cards, scanners,...... In exchange for your generosity
you will receive a generous tax write-off for donating. Thanks
        Please email inquiries....Thanks again!

Shouldn't any such tax deductable donations have occurred before the end of
last year for them to matter for this tax cycle (Due in two weeks)?
