We are about to make the plans for a workshop-like postgrad seminar here in the Communications lab of Helsinki Univ. of Tech, with topic like protocol design or telecom program development. The main point seems to be, that the participants are taking part in a development process actively. This might start from September 1991, if we'll be ready. 1) Does anyone has experience with courses like this? What are these experiences? 2) If it seems to work and we can find sponsors for the connections, we might be interested to expand it into a distributed course with video-conference connections and email. Is there someone else interested from February 1992?
