We are planing to run a 10Mb baseband network ("Ethernet") over 75 ohm coax. I'd rather buy or modify commercial transceivers than brew some up. Insert standard questions - Has this been done? Do you have any enperience? What manufacturers? Any ideas? If you'd like a longer explanation, drop me a line. Or call me (603) 646-3189. Many thanks.

We have used some transceivers from TCL in San Jose that they modified for us to work on 75 ohm coax. We're using it more in a point-to-point fashion to connect two nodes rather than a multidrop bus like standard Ethernet, but it seems to work fine.
