Are there any (preferably public domain) software packages to run TCP/IP on a VAX running VMS? Would running TCP/IP on the VMS machine be the best way to communicate between UNIX machines on the ethernet and VMS machines? -- NAME: James P. This utterly depends upon your application. There are also some DECnet-compatible products out there that run under UNIX. -- Bob Sutterfield, Department of Computer and Information Science The Ohio State University; 2036 Neil Ave. Columbus OH USA 43210-1277 bob@ohio-state.{arpa,csnet} or ...!cb{osgd,att}!osu-eddie!bob (614) 292 - 0915 or (614) 292 - 5813
