We are looking into using DECnet on an intelligent board running on a UNIX host. We have heard of a company called TCI, that provides such a product (called CommUnity). I would appreciate any feedback on the quality and reliability of their product, or any other DECnet ports to UNIX. Please e-mail replies directly to me. Thanks, Bill Kules -- "We're on the road Bill Kules and we're gunning for the Buddha" seismo!vrdxhq!baskin!wmk -- Shriekback

*** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR MESSAGE *** I too would be interested in seeing any information on DECnet connections for Unix machines. We ahve looked into a TCP/IP gateway on the DECnet but it seems cost prohibitive. We currently run Convergent Mightyframes and 3Bs that we would like to hook up to a very large DECnetwork. Thanks in advance for any and all info. Carl C. McKenna Kennametal Inc.
