The VMS Services for MS-DOS implement the Microsoft Networks protocols
layered on DECnet transport. However these components are only availible
in that product, not in DECnet-DOS.

In included in the client kit are the Microsoft Redirector which speaks
the file sharing protocol (SMB) to Interrupt 2Ah. Digital provides a
component called "SESSION" that handles the Int 2A calls and translates
them to the appropriate DECnet socket calls (DECnet-DOS is Unix compatible).
While Int 2Ah calls to support MS-Net are NETBIOS compatible, they are not
complete. In particular there is no datagram or naming support.

All this may change in the future but,
"Digital does not comment on unannounced products".
