Hi...could someone tell me what the nominal voltages are for an ethernet backbone cable? I'm looking for the high, low, and idle state voltage levels. Thanks alot... ... Sal

Ethernet runs at 2V peak-peak. Idle is 0 volts. The Ethernets I've scoped actually have the voltage swing from 0 to -2 volts, though I believe some tranceivers have a voltage swing from +1 to -1 volts. -Mike Moroney
