First I want to tell you about LAN MAGAZINE. This is not an endorsement,
but rather FYI. LAN MAGAZINE is published monthly and runs about 88 pages.
The subscription rates are $18/1yr, $31/2yr, $45/3yr. The address is: 12 West
21 Street, NY, NY 10010. VISA/MC/AMX/DC/CB accepted (call 1-800-LIBRARY).
It appears to be very balanced in trying to cover: PC's, Token Ring,
Ethernet, IEEE, ISO, bridges, ISDN, Fiber, Servers, Management, Vendors,
email, etc. There are 42 different advertisers in the September issue.
The other purpose of this posting is to appeal to the magazine to "get
online". If you are in their area, please consider offering them a news
feed. I think they would be wise to subscribe to groups such as this.
They should also publish email addresses for themselves and their
authors. They publish an E-Mail phone of 212-691-1010 but I don't know
what this is.
