We need to find out info about various IBM PC local-area network systems. In particular, we're looking into the IBM PC lan (both 'star' and token ring), or Novell NetWare on IBM cards, Novell cards or Ethernet cards. The attitude that seems to be forming is that NetWare running on Ethernet adapter cards (from Novell) ought to be the best overall choice. But we really need more facts, figures, war stories, etc. to help us convince those in charge of paying for the stuff. Does anyone have experience with any of these systems? Any ideas you could offer on number of terminals supported before network performance degrades, or throughput speeds, etc would be great. Even better would be comparisons between these systems, if anyone has had experience with more than one. Thanks. Steve Willoughby P.S.
