In an article several months ago about using PCs as serial data
analyzers, I referred to a similar approach for ethernet.
I thought "lanalyzer" was a generic term for that approach.
As it turns out "LANalyzer" is a registered trademark of
Excelan, and the people at Excelan have contacted me pointing
out my mistake, and have asked that I make that point in this
forum.
My apologies to Excelan for my error.
