We recently upgraded to Novell Netware 2.1 from 2.0a and have noticed a few programs cause network errors when they exit. QMODEM, for example, runs fine with the network shell until you exit the program. The Novell workstation shell critical error handler then issues a message indicating a "send error" on the network. On further examination I observed that if I loaded the network transport interface program (IPX.COM) then executed QMODEM and exited, the network shell program (NET3.COM) was unable to locate a server to which to attach. I checked a couple of obvious possible causes for this behavior (interrupt vector changes by QMODEM and interrupt controller (8259) mask bits) and did not see any differences before and after running QMODEM. Has anyone else noticed this behavior? Also does anyone know of the status of support for Windows386 in conjuction with Novell Netware? JonM
