Does anyone know details of new release of PC NFS from SUN?
I understand that it's much better than the previous version.
I am wondering if they have an implementation of the NFS server (as
opposed to clients) for the PC NFS in this newer version.

I have had 3.0 up for a week now. It seems to have some bug fixes and
expanded support (more network hardware supported) and SLIP support.
I have not played with SLIP, but am interested by the possibilities.
I see no mention of making the PC disks available over the network.

My apologies to everyone in this newsgroup for using the misleading
subject line. My original posting under this subject heading "3com 501"
was really about PC-NFS. I had originally intended to ask some questions
regarding the board installation (I got it from a friend without any doc.)
but it actually was simple enough board (with clear labels, etc.) I had
not trouble installing it(as I was writing the article) - and then I forgot
about the subject line before I posted the article.
THanks for your patience.
