I am working under contract to a place that is converting from multi-drop serial to ethernet (actually IEEE 802.3 on DECnet). I am working on the stand alone controller end of things. It is a 68000 running MTOS. We are going to use the Am7990 Local Area Network Controller for Ethernet (LANCE).I have to come up with everything up to the LLC layer. All this (including the interrupt routines) is going to written in C on an HP 9000/330 system. I am new to the world of networking, and I have no idea what software is available out there. What I DO know is that this stuff must have been written many times over by now. I would appriciate ANY leads to PD or otherwise SOURCE.
