I'd like to connect an IBM model 50 PC to an AT&T 1Mb starlan network. Does anyone make a micro-channel card that is compatible? Les Mikesell

I suppose that you could get a Starlan-10 card for the model 50 and the Starlan-10 to Starlan 1mb converter to solve your problem. Thanks for the suggestion, but going that route would cost at least twice as much as replacing the model 50 with something with AT style slots. Maybe someday we will break the 1Mb net into subnets with a 10Mb backbone which would make it worth getting the 10-1 converters but first we have to upgrade to the OSI protocols (sigh..). Les Mikesell
