Let me append what I listed earlier about STARLAN 10 file transfer. I (and some others) started to play with the MS-KERMIT file transfer/ server program/terminal emulator/wife/best friend/.... that comes bundled with the STARLAN software from AT&T. This program allows for: Direct DOS -> DOS file transfer over the network. remote directory listings of DOS disks. Direct UNIX -> DOS file transfer WITHOUT sharing ANY directory on the network. remote directory listings of UNIX disks. (** and heres the one that i though was pretty keen) Direct DOS -> UNIX file transfer with the UNIX side interactive and the DOS PC as a passive server! also remote listings of the DOS disk from the UNIX side. Admittedly I did have to Kludge things a bit to get this third one to work. Will Wonders Never Cease? |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Norman J.
