[comp.dcom.lans] Request For Information: CMU TCP/IP

dd@ariel.unm.edu (03/30/89)

I need some help from folks running the TCP/IP code for VMS, from CMU:

[1] What versions of VMS are supported?

[2] Has anyone noticed any nasty habits? For example, excessive overhead,
limits on the number of concurrent users, flakiness in any particular
aspect of operation of either Telnet or FTP, etc?

[3] Are you using terminal servers in your environment? Which ones?

[4] Any other helpful information regarding this product, running on a
wide range of VMS systems (hardware ranging from VS2000s to Vax8650s,
and VMS releases ranging from 4.7 (I think) to 5.1), over an Ethernet
supporting many protocols, and employing MAC level bridging for
    traffic isolation?

Please contribute your assistance by mail to 'dd@ariel.unm.edu', and I will
make a composite summary available to interested parties, again, by mail.

Thanks in advance!
