[comp.dcom.lans] Composite Ethernet Bridge from RAD Net dev. Tel Aviv

marcel@dx7.UUCP (Marcel Bernards) (04/07/89)

hello there News readers,

Recently I read a article about a Composite Ethernet Bridge used to form a
universal LAN/WAN network bridge,router

This beast seems to be able to route protocol independend 802.3/Ethernet
messages. Also it can filter certain protocols as TCP/IP out from other
network protocols.
On the Photograph, it looks like an AT clone with a HD Floppy and 2 ethernet
cards.

The manifacturer of this system is RAD Network Devices in Tel Aviv, Israel

Does anybody use such a beast ???
If so, what are your experiences with this system ????
Is it possible to manage this system remotely ???
etc.??

Any suggestions welcome.

Please E-mail, I'll summarise to the Net.
