I'm looking for clues on how to get NetWare 2.11 to talk to our new LaserWriter II NTX over a 9600 bps serial port. The closest we've come to success is to put the LaserWriter into HP LaserJet mode, and send a WordPerfect document its direction. The green LED flashes, indicating something is arriving from the Novell server, but output is strange: several pages are printed with one or two decimal numbers (in the wrong font) printed in the upper left hand corner, and the rest of the page is blank. And what was the invocation to get the non-LAN version of WordPerfect to deliver output before quitting from WordPerfect? Is it ctrl-PrtScrn, or Alt-PrtScrn, or ... ? -- Bill Cerny ISDN: I still don't know bill@toto.uucp
