We are running Novell remote async bridges across our local Micom MUX network with no problems ( we do this to provide LAN access to persons on the campus who are not bridged in directly ). It works fine and cost very little, but now we are having problems with persons outside the campus who use other means ( ie, leased-lines & sattelites ) to connect to the LAN coming through the local Micoms. The Novell error message is: Network Error on Server SRV3 : Error Sending on Network Abort or Retry? Of course the error messages manual is no help, so has anyone out there tried something similar? I have a hunch that thep problem has to do with timing because I have had the Telecomm folks verify that the async setup is the same whether to session is local or remote. I was thinking that SHELL.CFG for the IPX program might be worth trying, but did not know where to start ( IPX, SPX and ticks are a bit over my head ). Any pointers or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated. -- * Gary M.
