I am looking for a reliable gateway to run between a Novell network and a UNIX machine running TCP/IP. I am interested in telnet, ftp, and SMTP capability. I am familiar with the Micom NP600G, but it has bugs in it's ftp implementation, and the gateway randomly crashes about twice / week. I need better reliability than that, and I also desperately need ftp. I am currently using kermit to transfer multi-megabyte files at 9600 baud between a UNIX host and the Novell net ;-(. I would like a product that is server based and does not eat up RAM in the network nodes. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. If what you want is the ability to telnet and FTP from a client on a Novell network, there is an easier (and probably cheaper) solution than the gateway. Using the packet driver concept you can simoultaneously use both Novell and a TCP product such as FTP Software's. -Ron
