Dear all, I am posting this article to request information (preferably with references) about bridges currently in operation. This is a part of a comparative study which I need to do for my work and since I want to make sure that I compare like with like, could you include the following information in any reply (if possible): Name and type of the bridge, protocol level at which it is implemented (ie does it do intelligent address translation), exact max. throughput (eg KBytes/s and not high, med or low), price (a rough guide would do, unless you are the manufacturer) and a source which could be used as reference for the information given. I shall put together all relevant responses (if there is enough of them) and would be pleased to make it available to any one else who might be interested.
