Sorry, but I couldn't resist :) The answer to your question is in your subject line. I just received and installed this beast, but our FDDI isn't up yet, so I can't say much more yet. This card is mostly a diagnostic/debug/troubleshooting tool. There is a company by the name of simple-net systems that has a card also. The simple-net card is $4-$5k and the AMD card is $6k. If there is any interest, I'll post some after I use the AMD card. tony goodloe
