[comp.dcom.lans] NetWorld '89 -- Call for panelists

mpb@teg.TEG.CDC.COM (Michael Besosa) (06/30/89)

Are you:

. An experienced user of a low-end network operating system (examples would
be LanTastic, AT&T StarGroup, PC/NOS, IBM PC Lan Program, Invisible
     Network) ?

. Planning on attending NetWorld '89 in Dallas on Sept. 11-14?

. Willing to talk with interested users on a panel for about 90 minutes?

I'm looking for people to participate in a panel discussion I'm moderating at
NetWorld. The topic is "Network Operating Systems: An Introduction", and
the blurb in the NetWorld brochure says:

In this session, attendees will be exposed to a survey of available
network operating systems, including those from the "Big 3" (Novell, 3Com,
and Banyan. We will compare features, topology requirements and other
issues surrounding network operating system selection.

The qualifications are user experience on one of the NOS-s mentioned above,
your presence at the show (sorry, they aren't paying to send me there either),
and your willingness to interact with other panelists.

IF this interests you, please give me a call at (612) 851-1500, or send me mail
at STEVE@JHEREG.MN.ORG. I need to hear from you by the end of the day on
July 7, 1989.
