[comp.dcom.lans] TP Ethernet/10BaseT

benderly@cs.columbia.edu (Dan Benderly) (07/20/89)

I know that this topic has been discussed before, but unfortunately I was not
intelligent enough at the time to record all of it.

I am looking for twisted-pair Ethernet products. I need to know which are
10BaseT compliant, what the relative prices are, and any impressions/
experiences that you can tell me about.

Manufacturer's addresses/phone numbers would also be helpful.

You may wish to E-Mail me instead of posting, as I don't wish to flood the
net with this, unless others find it useful as well.

Thanks!!

Dan

There ain't no such animal - yet. There are a few products available which
offer '10MBPS Twisted-Pair' capability, but there isn't an issue with
compliance until the draft becomes a standard.
