My company recently purchased some X terminals which have 2 possible inputs; thicknet and thinnet. Up to this time, we have totally used thicknet between SGI workstations (4D/[2678]0's). Can thinnet be used in conjunction with thicknet with no problems and if so, how?? I probably have lots of questions about this, but this is the first!! Are there any books or articles available which describe how to "connect" thicknet and thinnet?? In some catalogues, I have seen a terminal server connected to thicknet with a thicknet drop cable that has thinnet terminal connectors??
