We are setting up a Novell ELS Level II network with Micom-Interlan ethernet
cards, and are having some trouble.
We have Novell ELS Level II v2.15
Micom-Interlan NI5010 ethernet cards
A 386 with 2 com ports, 2 parallel ports
We are able to get comcheck working correctly. When we try to boot the
file server (in non-dedicated mode), it is unable to initialize the
ethernet card.
We are using the selection Netware NE1000 for the LAN driver. It works
for comcheck. Is this the right selection? I think the problem is in
the IRQ and base addresses, and we've tried disabling the com ports, etc.
If anyone has used this particular equipment, or has any suggestions,
comments are welcome.
