[comp.dcom.lans] Net Appointment Calendar

fleming@uxh.cso.uiuc.edu (11/28/89)

I'm looking for a (simple?) appointment calendar that can be accessed
and updated from any node on a Novell Net. WordPerfect's Office
program has something like what I'm looking for, but if a secretary
wants to update one of her lawyer's appointments, she has to do it
from his desk. It's very agrivating.

I know something like this has to exist; I just don't have the time
	to write it myself.

	Thanks!

We use a package called Right-Hand Man, it's got an appointment calendar,
email, calculator, and about 20 other bells and whistles. It's a TSR that
once pulled up you can change users and do things as if you were them. If
you want a more technical explanation feel free to give me a call at work
during the day @ 414-271-0330.
One word of warning: if you don't ask for me and get a salesman(I'm in the
techincal area) you're on your own.

Include usual disclaimer about only being a satisfied user and this not
being any kind of ad.

There is a product called `Higgins' that was bought by the people who make
`Enable' (integrated wp/db/sp/etc). I don't know too much about it, other than
that I know people who use it and swear by it. I'm planning to take a closer
look some decade, but in the meantime I'll settle for letting you know about
it.

Standard disclaimers about not being even a satisfied customer.
