I am looking for a reasonably up-to-date list of 'Type' fields associated with Ethernet packets (Octets 13 and 14)? The list in RFC1010 is out of date, and the last one I saw posted on the network was dated 6/18/88. I am also interested in getting a recent list of known Ethernet vendor hardware addresses. The number of unknown flavors of Ethernet packets seen on our network is a bit unsettling, and it's a lot easier to track them down if you can associate a vendor or protocol 'type' with them.
