The system: IBM Token Ring with IBM PC LAN 1.2 11 machines on the network (XT, AT, 386) 2 MAU units connected together This network has been running nicely for over a year now, but all of a sudden there is a "NET801: Remote computer not listening" error when a workstation tries to "NET USE" the server's disk. It's intermittent, though, and usually a reboot will work. There are no error messages on the server. Does this indicate a hardware problem? If so, where would it be --- the cabling, the server's network adapter, or the MAU box? Thanks for any and all replies (Email preferred!).
