Are there any problems in using NETBIOS with PC-NFS? A user on campus is trying to make a program available for use on PC-NFS, but the ?*!?" program uses a smart hardware dongle to control access. This dongle is set to allow 10 users to gain access to the program, and it is connected to one workstation. This workstation uses a NETBIOS to supposedly allow other workstations to be recorded by the dongle. That is how it should work in theory. In practice, it doesn't work. Only the workstation with the dongle works. The NETBIOS is for a WD8003E Ethernet card, and is dated 1988. The manual for the software has no reference section - it merely has an insert that states that a reference section is being written! Is anyone out there using PC-NFS with NETBIOS for any useful purposes? Any ideas about this predicament (except for demanding that the company remove the dongle copy protection)? Thanks in advance Christian Legg
