Greetings, We're looking for a 16-port or so TCP/IP-type terminal server that has the ability to set up permanent circuits to another like server. In other words, put two of these things at opposite ends of an ethernet, and use them like async muxes. Ideally, I'd like the server to recognize DTR from the terminal, make the connection to a pre-determined port on another terminal server, and then shut it down when DTR drops. I've got some ideas about which servers might be able to do this, but I'd like to hear from people who are really doing it. Of course, I'll summarize the results in case it helps someone else. Thanks. -- Mark Anacker msa@dsinet -or- msa@toybox Digital Systems International, Inc. Redmond, WA USA (206) 881-7544
