We have a Sperry Usernet Network that uses the Omninet Junction boxes with the twisted pair wire. I recently made new junction boxes because of the unreliability of the boxes. The manual states that the junction boxes should be terminated with a 100 ohm resistor. The original Omninet junction boxes were terminated on the opposite ends of the network. I also terminated my new boxes on the opposite ends of the network. Initially, the network seemed to work fine. Recently, we have been having trouble with the network and are making new boxes with shielded wiring. Someone told me that the terminator box es should be located at least 5 ft. from the last node on the network. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks in advance. TEB106
