From article <2663FCF7.20588@paris.ics.uci.edu>, by ajauch@bonnie.ics.uci.edu (Alexander Edwin Jauch): > Is this possible? > > I just got my brand spankin' new PS2/80 with a 320mb SCSI drive, and I can't > get novell working!! > If the disk-drive is mentioned in the setup, e.g. in CMOS-ram, then ISADISK should work. > The EDSI driver don't work of course, and the isadisk one doesn't either. > > Are there specialized SCSI drivers out there that I can FTP?? > There are, but they are controller/host-adapter dependant. This is why I am posting this to the net and not directly. I have a Future Domain TMC-830, and was told there is and will not be a NW386 dirver for this. So I bought a TMC-860 and the NW-driver (FDU-NV386) whose box says: for use with TMC-860 and TMC-885 and what can I read in the docs: It supports: TMC-885, -881, -871, -860, -850, -841, -830, -845, -841RL !!!!!!! Of course I tried with my -830, runs without any problem . Point. R. Kirchner kirchner@uklirb.informatik.uni-kl.de
