We are getting ready to install two more file servers on our network using
Netware386. We currently have one running SFT 2.15. I'm interested in
hearing from others that have multiple servers and how they have theirs
setup.
As for equipment involved all servers will be 386/20 units with 8 megs of
memory. Our original server has one 337meg HD split as 2 volumes.(255/xxx).
Our two new additons will have duplexed 330meg HD. We run thin net eithernet
between file servers and our DAVID Systems Data/Voice Manager.
This is the first time I have install Netware386 or a multiple server config.
Any advice/info/letters of sympathy would be greatly appreciated.
What I'm really intersted in is how others have set theirs up. I'm thinking of
making one the primary server for login/mail/word processing and putting
database apps/data on a second and financials on a third.
