[comp.dcom.lans] Netware and PS/2

pcb@gator.cacs.usl.edu (Peter C. Bahrs) (07/19/90)

I have got a wierd problem. I have 31 successfully networked
PS/2 model 70s, ethernet, Ungermann Bass NICPS2 boards and Netware 2.15.

One of these things simply will not run netware client drivers ???
Ipx loads fine, net3 runs fine. Everything the others do. The first
network drive is F:. Any attempt to login or change to F: on this
machine results in an infinite scrolling of the error:
Error: can't get CURRENT DIRECTORY HANDLE
(I don't have the exact wording but it is very similar) The message
is not listed in the Message Book.

Funny thing is 1) Diagnostics for the PS/2 say everything is ok
               2) The same setup will run IBM tcpip stuff fine!

What in the heck is going on?
