I've herd that 3COM's 3c503 is faster then the 3c505 on a 386 that is runs greater than 25Mhz. The reasoning is that the processor on the 3c505 is slower than the 386 and therefore holds it back even though it is a 16 bit card as opposed to the 3c503 which is 8 bit. Does anyone know if this information is true? Chas DiFatta (chas@lis.pitt.edu)
