I have received a lot a feedback from the net. THANKS. I have an Ungermann Bass (32 of them) NICPS2 boards. I am trying to get the clarkson drivers to work with them. So I ran the new driver ubnic.com. The parameters needed for this are sft_int_addr interuupt_number and memory address. I did not see this driver listed in drivers.doc? So I used 0x62 and 0x7E as the first parameter and 3 as the second. What is the third parameter? The io address or Ram address? eg. ubnic -n 0x7E 3 0xD0000 worked on one machine and ubnic -n 0x7E 3 0x1550 worked on another but I could not swap settings on either machine! hmmm.... Anyway, It seemed to load. I could run several of the p*.com utility files and access it. Now, I then ran ipx and net3 for netware access and it ran fine. However, I think this was a goof. I did not econfig the client ipx as it says not a configurable driver (both client ipx and server net$os.exe say this). So I don't know if ipx bypassed ubnic, if that is possible. I can login to the server... Now I got some kaq9 (spelling?) software and tried to configure it with ubnic. Someone who is familiar with the setup for a 3com board helped. Everything set up okay but the invocation of ftp or telnet froze the machine. Hence, the close but not cigar. Is there a better suite of tcpip software I should try? Such as the ncsa stuff. Any ideas? /*----------- Thanks in advance... --------------------------------------+ | Peter C.
