We are running PC-NFS 3.01a on our ethernet. The clients are PC's with either a NI5010 ethernet control adapter or a NI5210-16 (also known as Racal Interlan 5120-16) ethernet control adapter. When we see a lot of traffic (more than 15-20% measured with LTM: Lan Traffic Monitor from DEC) the PC's with the 5010 are performing really bad, the other PC's are behaving normally still. I know that a 5010 is slower than the 5210, but I didnot know the difference was so much, or am I missing something? What can I do to get a better performance with the 5010 (replace them?)?
