[comp.dcom.lans] FDDI for Sun 3/60 ???

akenning@pico.oz (Alan Kennington) (08/31/90)

I've been following this group for a year or so, but I never looked out to see
if anyone was talking about FDDI controllers for Suns.

Are FDDI controllers for Suns available? And if so, from where, and for how
much? At the moment we only have Suns of type 3/60, 386i, and 4/20.

Thanks in advance for any info on this subject.

Alan Kennington.

At the very least, Sun has an FDDI controller out. However it is a
separate VME board, so it won't fit in any of your current systems.
