Sorry if this is the wrong spot for this.
We have Novell advanced netware version 2.15 rev C and have
installed the mac VAP kit (ver 1.1 if my memory is right).
We have the novell card for localtalk to talk to mac's and apple
laserwriters. The problem we seem to have is that printer queues
seem to be able to unpublish themselves!
Near as we can tell, any time a laser printer is turned off there is a
good chance that the print server VAP on our file server will decide to
unpublish that queue. This means that the mac's loose the benefit of being
able to use the Novell server as a print spooler.
To cause the queue to be republished seems to require a reboot after
running macsetup.
Any suggestions??
Otherwise printing is fine and textps works wonders.
Naturally we seem to be the only people at the uni to use macs with a
Novell network.
