[comp.dcom.lans] Excelan's ethernet cards and TCP/IP

Hi there!

Is it possible to have two totally different TCP/IP B-class
addresses in the "same LAN"?

We have Bridge's terminal servers that wish to communicate
with VAX-machines that have Excelan's ethernet cards and
TCP/IP-software. The two VAX-machines are physically in two
different LANs, which are connected with two remote bridges
(3Com). These two LANs have also totally different TCP/IP B-
class addresses.

The question is, can the servers and computers talk to each
other without having to put router or gateway between the
LANs.

Thanks in advance for your help....
