[comp.dcom.lans] What are good cables for 10BASE-T?

I am installing an 802.3 campus network "backbone" that will use unshielded
twisted pair extensively within buildings. The buildings sizes are such
that 100 meters doesn't quite reach from a central point to the most
distant lab/office in most buildings. 125 or 150 meters would.

What cable is available that is suitable for this length of run? I need
cable that is described by the manufacturer (or "certified") to meet
10baseT specs out to this distance. And I need it to be available in
100-pair cables.

I know about AT&T 2601A, which appears to be great and appears to work
well beyond 150 meters. But it is only available in 4-pair sheaths so I
would end up with literally hundreds of these sheaths in many wiring
closets which isn't practical. Also, it is very expensive.

Is there a 100-pair Hitachi cable of this type?
