Help! I have a problem. I need to be able to set the machine name of a workstation existing on a Novell Network, from a program written in C. This is for a network aware program with a licence limit, that wants the user specified with the "MACHINE NAME = 'name'" in the login script. As we have more workstations that licenses and way way more users than that, I need to be able to set the name to one that isn't being used at the time. Any Ideas? I can't find any reference to it in the Netware API's, but the Netware manuals say that it sets the NetBIOS machine name of the station to a specified name. The easiest thing to do is to get ahold of some NetBIOS access routines, which include add name routines, and write the code calling the appropriate add name routine with the name you want to add.
