Gosh I hope this is a dweeb question and that there's a really simple solution and all I gotta do is RTFM: Is there a package solution (a "gateway box") that will allow me to connect an ARCnet local network to an Ethernet backbone (DECnet and/or TCP-IP)? -- kral * 408/647-6112 * ...!uunet!drivax!braun * braun@dri.com That which does not kill us Makes us stronger - Nietzche

Funny you should ask. I've just got one working. The product is called GARP by an Australian firm called Net Research. It is being marketted in Australia by Netcomm. It supports 128 connections and access in our case is via anyone of 7 Novell networks via Gateway G/NET, Arcnet or Ethernet. | / /~~ Public Unix BBS 24hrs | Ban French |_/ /\ |~\ |~\ /\ | |~ | | /~ | (~ Auckland NEW ZEALAND | nuclear | \ \,\ |,/ |,/ \,\ | | |_| \_ | _) KC BBS: 09-817-3714 | testing in | \ | | \__ Voice: 09-817-5569 | Pacific
