With their StarGroup s/w, AT&T supplies a version of Kermit that permits logging in over a NetBIOS-supported network device (in this case, a StarLAN PC NAU). Are there any other terminal emulator/file xfr programs that do the same? Thanks, Pete -- Prof. Peter J. It allows connections to Async gateway servers and isn in addition to the file server. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rajeev Dolas. Are there any other terminal emulator/file xfr >programs that do the same? > SoftermPC by Softronics (Colorado) supports about 50 different terminal interfaces and will run over AT&T's ISO/Netbios interface. You could also run tcp-ip and LM/X (StarGroup) at the same time on a workstation via the NDIS interface. Some tcp-ip's (like pc/tcp) support the int14 interface. There are a number of terminal emulators that will run ontop of int14 (including SoftermPC). -- John Robert Breeden, netcom!jbreeden@apple.com, apple!netcom!jbreeden, ATTMAIL:!jbreeden ------------------------------------------------------------------- "The nice thing about standards is that you have so many to choose from. It provides VT-100 emulation, kermit, x-modem and possibly some other goodies, over modems and over NetBIOS-supported networks. -- Dave Levenson Internet: dave@westmark.com Westmark, Inc.
