Here at The Indiana Academy/Ball State University.. we have run into a small problem: We have a Novell NetWare set up running off of a Zenith Z/386 file server, connected to about 30 workstations with around 200 user accounts. Recently, a groups of students set up another network using an identical file server and identical software (of course, the actual network is different, these aren't exact duplicates of each other. We plugged the new file server into a data jack which leads directly to an AT&T Starlan hub that belongs to the other file server. That hub contains the connections for one lab, but not the other. When both servers are brought up, only the workstations in the connected lab will recognize the new server. Since the servers are connected through the hub, Why won't the other server recognize the new server and allow users to use login NEW_SERVER/ to access the other server?????? We have tried using SYSCON to add another server and it still won't recognize the other server...
