We are interested in a network analyzer for our LAN, so we are looking for
some feedback.
Our network consists of a main Ethernet backbone supporting both DEC and SUN
environments. Also attached via gateways are an Apollo network and a
PC network. We are also in the process of installing a sub-net that will
be supporting a group of SUN systems. We are leaning more towards a hardware
device over a software package, but could go either way. I do know that there is a wide range of prices in this market, but we are willing to listen.
Any information or sources would be helpful.
