Yes, I know this is an ancient version (the S subversion is the national character set extension), but I'd like to know if this is a known problem ? The PS/2 is set up with a Western Digital EtherCard Plus/A (default settings, didn't see any reason to change them) and the NCSA telnet 2.2DS using the latest Clarkson packet driver. Do I need a separate version for PS/2 ? Telnet and ftp work perfectly. What happens is that when you open a session to a host computer (even if you only press ^D once to close the session by terminating login(1)), your system will hang the next time you try to access the floppy drive. I have newer versions of NCSA telnet (2.3b1) and the Clarkson University variant (CUTE/CUTCP 2.2D rev -C), but haven't yet had time to look at them properly. Are there any significant differences between these versions ? What we specially need is 1) possibility to remap keyboard (NCSA has this) 2) possibility to remap display characters (do either of these have it ?) to provide for national 7-bit character sets. -- /* * * Otto J.
