We have a set of IBM comp. PC's and Macintoshes with ethernet/LocalTalk adapters and software drivers installed. The Macintoshes works fine with both AppleShare and 3+Share for Macintosh together with NCSA Telnet concurrently ! But then we still have a problem when it comes to our PC's which we have to reboot reconf. with packet drivers from Clarkson or other available Dos TCP/IP drivers. We do require a linkage to our 3Server at the same time as we run Telnet or ftp. PCS/TCP has been tested, but seems to be fare from flexible and out of date as for a commercial product. So, what do we do. We cannot effort to trow away our PC investment. We would like to be able to - either from Windows 3.0 or as a non-windows application - start or switch to a telnet or ftp session. We admit asking a whole lot, but is any part of this available without convert- ing to 3+Open or any other (please advice!) LAN ? If you're out there with any 3+Share knowlege and/or experiance we'd like to hear your oppinion or advice. Any references to people who know - within or out- side 3Com - would also be appreciated. Please, 3+share your knowlege with us, Torstein
